Career Summary

I have nearly 20 years of experience in the product management and operating model/digital transformation space. I specialize in integrating product, technology, design, and business strategy by collaborating across the organization and translating across verticals. Specifically, I’ve spent most of my career in highly regulated industries with a triple focus on improving outcomes, lowering costs, and enhancing the customer experience (CX). While focusing on outcomes, costs, and the CX, I’ve also transformed how product teams operate by streamlining the process and modernizing our approach so teams can scale as they grow.

Digital Transformation & Product Management

Only recently did I realize I have been doing digital transformation for most of my career. It started when I was an upperclassman working on my university’s literary magazine. My advisor asked me if I wanted to create the first Website for the magazine and “convert” the print publication to a digital format, which I agreed to do by literally tearing pages out of the book and scanning them in as I built the first website. Admittedly, it was a primitive start.

Since then, nearly every step in my career journey has been some form of transformation. Whether it was creating engaging online learning experiences at ed-tech organizations for the emerging “digital native” generation or streamlining the consumer experience for several healthcare companies, the challenges all had a common thread.

It was only after several years into my career journey that I discovered the product management discipline and realized a perfect marriage. Since discovering product management, I’ve embraced the approach and have focused my career on building high-performing teams that create great products and digital experiences by solving the most important problems for the customer and transforming business operations.

Off-Duty

When I’m off duty, I spend time with my wife, two daughters, and our rescue dog, Kinley. My hobbies include anything outdoors, especially mountain biking, skiing, camping, hiking, and sipping a good craft beer while attempting not to burn the food in my smoker.
