About Me

I haven't updated this page since I created it. I will.

Dustin Davis Rosel was killed in a car accident on the morning of July 17th, 2000. He was my brother, my roommate and my friend. This page is dedicated to him.

To remember him, I have a tattoo on my back, the #17 around my neck, and this website to share with friends and family. I got the tattoo on the one year anniversary. 17 is a significant # in my family because Dustin was born on the 17th of February, 1980, died on the 17th of July, and we both wore the #17 for sports. It was his favorite #, and is inexplicitly tied to his death.

I promise to have pictures of him up shortly. In the meantime, I'll tell you a little about him. The first thing most people think of when they think of Dustin is how frickin' funny he was. The kid could make anyone laugh. He did great impersonations of Jim Carey's Pet Detective character, Chris Farley... and me. He liked to impersonate me too (the smart ass). He was a HUGE Dave Matthews fan and in fact, turned me on to Dave. I was supposed to go with him to my very first Dave show at Alpine Valley- and have been to several shows since. Dustin was a definitely a bit of a rebel, was known to get into trouble, but he also had a big heart.

Dustin lived his life like "no one was watching." I know that no one will ever forget him. Friends and family, please e-mail me your favorite stories of Dustin. I'll post them to the website when I get a bunch.
